Do you feel the back to school stress each year? The first few days before the kids arrive are some of the most exhilarating and exhausting!

question mark

Do you run short on time to plan and prepare engaging and effective lessons?  With all of the staff meetings, IEP meetings, and everything else, I can totally relate!

question mark

Do you ever wonder how to keep your students engaged when teaching or review lab safety? This can be challenging when students have different experiences with Science before you became their teacher.

Back to school time can be very stressful!

I totally get it!

I remember the stress I felt every July when we went back to school.  Sitting in a staff meeting every day, with my notebook.  I would be writing my to-do list and ideas, and listening a bit to important things.

I would think of how I was going to set up my room since the desks and lab tables were EVERYWHERE after summer cleaning.  I was trying to figure out when I would have time to plan and then prepare for the first day of school. let alone all of my lab safety lessons.

I tried to multi-task, but that wasn’t very effective.

And I thought…what if I don’t have time to plan my lab safety lessons??

We would find ourselves stopping a lab to review the rules with our students.

When students don’t fully understand the lab safety rules or consequences, they could stray far from the directions!

Then I realized it doesn’t have to be that way!

Imagine being ready and prepared with all of your lab safety lessons!

Yes, it is completely possible!
